I normally dislike white shoes, but I got these for a "black & white" party and was surprised how much I liked them. I have narrow heels, so the ankle strap is perfect. I also have super high arches, so I was a little worried about the lack of arch support, but they're fine for a couple of hours. I would probably want some kind of insert for longer than that. The leather is not soft, so if it rubs you anywhere, you'll get blisters. (I got a wee blister on one toe, but it's the toe that "always" gets blisters, so I'm not sure I can blame the shoe.) Overall, a very nice sandal, especially if you can get it on sale.
